About the event
In its fifth year, Pawpaw Appreciation Day celebrates the native pawpaw grown on Endview's historic property. Co-sponsored by the Peninsula Master Naturalists, attendance to the Festival is free, a $5.00 donation gets one a bag for picking Pawpaw. In addition to lectures and information on growing pawpaw, local environmental organizations have booths and give presentations on related topics. Live music, food trucks, and nature trail tours round out the day's activities. Endview's 1769 historic house is also open for touring.
